MAP & DIRECTIONS TO THE
GROOTVADERSBOSCH CONSERVANCY OFFICE:
FROM CAPE TOWNTake the N2 from Cape Town towards George. Just past Swellendam and Buffelsjag River, take the left-hand turn-off towards Suurbraak/Barrydale. Continue through the town of Suurbraak and past the turn-off for Barrydale via Tradouwpass. The tar road becomes a dirt road (limited cell phone reception). Continue till a T-junction, keep left towards Strawberry Hill/Honeywood and keep left at the next fork towards Honeywood/Grotvadersbosch Reserve. Continue past Honeywood farm. The Grootvadersbosch Conservancy office is sharp left beyond strawberry hill guest house with a sign to GVB Conservancy mountain bike permits on the left. The office building is beyond the main house. If you continue on this road you will reach Cape Nature office which is too far.

FROM GEORGEExit N2 just before Heidelberg Wimpy at sign to Barrydale and Tradouw Pass. Drive through Heidelberg and cross the railway line. Continue until Road becomes gravel. Look for sign to the right to Honeywood, Strawberry Hill and Grootvadersbosch. Continue up the hill and straight at next two intersections. Continue past Honeywood farm.
